Questions Answered in Episode 23
- Melissa, massage therapist, Calgary
“Hi Juliet and Clinton. Thanks so much for your great podcast. I listen to you every week while I’m at the gym and find your tips and advice so helpful! I’m a massage therapist with a fairly busy business that has mostly been built from word of mouth. Truth is, I’ve never really had to do much marketing over the last 10 years, but I’m noticing that there is a lot more competition now in my area.
I need to redesign my old HTML website, which looks like it got stuck in 1999! Thing is, I just don’t know what are the most important things I should look for when redesigning a new website? What are the current website trends and what are the ‘must have’ pages for my new website to attract my ideal clients? Thanks for your help and keep up the great work!”
- Alex, therapist, Washington D.C.
“What is a reasonable amount to spend on marketing? Is there a percentage that one should go by? I provide energy therapy to individuals and also offer classes to people who want to learn about energy therapy. I haven’t done much marketing yet, and am wondering how much I should budget for it. I know there are free ways to market, but it seems I am going to have to spend some money if I want to get clients and fill my classes.”
