Questions Answered in Episode 43
In this episode we answered the following questions:
1. Ken Holmes – Vancouver, BC
“Thanks so much for your show. I really appreciate you offering such a great free resourse. I am just starting to market using email and I don’t understand the advantages and disadvantages of using single and double opt-in for my email list. I am using Aweber.com. It seems that single opt-in would be better because the subscriber doesn’t have to do so much work. I don’t understand why anyone would use double opt-in. Can you please explain the pros and cons of each?”
2. Jill Henry and Associates – Lane Cove, NSW, Australia
“Apart from the endless issue of finding spare time, it would be handy to have some advice on ways of avoiding infringing copyright when referring to a video, newsclip, journal, magazine or news article. Thanks.”
3. Care Turner – Vancouver, BC
“I need to figure out a structure to add an associate. I have someone interested in coming on board, but am finding the balance between associate, sub contractor and employee a difficult one to distinguish (aka, who supplies referrals, how is rent and other items like marketing factored in). Do you have some tips you could offer?”
